For the price, it is a good enough system for a PC ...
Strengths: Good clear sound, nice design, reasonably price.
Weaknesses: Speaker wires are irreplaceable.
Summary: For the price, it is a good enough system for a PC. Power is sufficient for a PC unit. Strong bass performance. The most significant negative is that the speaker wires cannot be replaced. Apparently, the speakers cannot be used once the wire connections break. The unit seems to be sealed.

Strengths: Performance with multiple SoundBlaster systems.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This is my third purchase of this system. I am using it on the X FI, Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS and now with the Sound Blaster card in my laptop. All three have given me superior performance, even at high audio levels.
Using them with Microsoft PowerPoint and while conducting classes, they still performed superbly. Movies and music are fantastic.
I would strongly advise that all sound systems be set at their original default setting such as bass and treble until the initial, acceptable sounds are obtained with this speaker system. Then, the sounds can be tweaked according to individual taste with the sound systems settings.
The sound separations between the individual speakers are excellent even with downloaded Midi song files.
The power wattage is more than sufficient for listening without distortion even in a large classroom.

Strengths: Clear Crisp sound from all directions
Weaknesses: Lack of stands for better placement
Summary: I love these speakers so much. The sound is just awesome and especially while playing games. I am never going back to integrated sound ever again. The only thing bad I have to say about this product is that there is no good way I can arrange the speakers without the stands : (

Strengths: Affordability, great starter set for those who aren't ready to fork over the money for high-end systems
Weaknesses: Occassionally picks up disturbance from cell phones, but that should probably be expected
Summary: These speakers are a great buy at an excellent value. I have yet to receive speaker stands that I ordered recently, and on a side note I find it disheartening that the two pairs of stands will cost just as much as the system itself. So I haven't been able to experience the true 7.1 effect, but I'm sure I'll be thoroughly impressed once I can set up the stands.

Strengths: PRICE, Great sounding,7.1 surround, Software
Weaknesses: Needs more power
Summary: First of all these are great sounding speakers. They have 8 speakers for 7.1 surround which are great. The price is definitely worth the buy. Easy to use software with tons of options. Overall you wont be disappointed.

Strengths: You get 7.1 surround sound for under $100.00 easy. Current rebates are a plus to purchase. Multiple mounting configurations/options on the back of speakers.
Weaknesses: If you plan on using them with anything other than a Creative Labs 7.1 Sound Card, you're more than likely going to have to purchase an additional 1/8"-to-1/8" stereo cable.
Summary: ...OK -- The Lowdown:
You're getting a decent 7.1 surround sound package for about $70.00. If you're an audiophile and are looking to get the best, then I would suggest not even looking at "computer" speakers period, as at $450.00+ for a high end computer speaker package you could probably get a low end stereo system that would blow them away. The ultimate configuration for a computer/entertainment system would include a plasma tv, high end computer, and a decent 7.1 dolby digital surround sound system. In that, you'll cover all bases. Now on to what your paying for in those higher ended computer speaker models: Generally you're getting better speakers in that they will have a higher output (wattage) and hopefully, but not in all cases, a lower distortion level. All speakers can be cranked up loud. Generally the reason that cheaper model speakers sound like crap is that more distortion is being created by the amplifier and to a lesser extent, the speakers can't handle higher output. Note that more distortion is created at the higher volumes. THX Summary: Goerge Lucas EXPENSIVE glorification of something that does absolutely nothing. All THX certification is; is Goege Lucas' thumbs up that, This product is AOK in my book. It has absolutely "NO" encoding and/or decoding format/feature/method/protocol of sound/music. Dolby on the other hand is and does. You can play anything that was "THX certified" and/or recorded on anything with speakers and its pretty much going to sound the same. It all depends on the quality of your speakers and amplifier. THX is just George Lucas way of how he wants things to be recorded and to sound there-after. So, just remember that when your paying that big buck for THX, you "probably are" getting a better speaker, but it has "absolutely" nothing to do with THX.

Inspire P7800 7.1 Speakers System
Strengths: Cheap price in 7.1 speakers system
Weaknesses: sound not what i expect
Summary: Awesome Speakers good looking, and very cheap, I think from far the best you can get for less than $90, and 7.1! Total 8 speakers. However, the sound is not very good to me!

Strengths: Great sound, great setup, great price.
Weaknesses: Not free?
Summary: If you'd like a 7.1 setup, already have a 7.1 creative sound card, and think spending hundreds of dollars for computer/gaming speakers is just plain stupid, then this is for you. I've been using one of these for several years now and must say they have never failed me and I have never for a second regretted buying these. They work flawlessly, and have MORE then enough bass and highs (unless you're deaf already). Gaming sounds perfect, as well as DVD movies.
I bought one for my little brother when i was building a rig for him, he loves it.

Strengths: Good 7.1 ch speakers under $100
Weaknesses: Not powerful
Summary: Because I purchased a 7.1 ch sound card, I bought this speaker set for my computer. The speakers easily connected to my sound card. I tested with music CD and games. The sound quality is good enough for computer sound output.

Strengths: The speakers are very loud and make the action come alive in my computer games.
Very cheap.
Weaknesses: No speaker stands come with the set.
No Tweeters in system
Bass sometime is out performed by the 7 speakers
Summary: The speaker stands can cost more then the speakers, so beware.
Also you need a 7.1 sound card to fully utilize different sounds for each speaker, but you still can use a 5.1 card or even lower for lesser quality.
Overall good speakers for the money.
