I was a little disappointed that the laser required batteries, but at least they were included, as well as a decent selection of blades. Summary: Compared to the jigsaw in my garage that this one replaced, it is a amazing. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the build. It is a heavy tool that has a solid feel to it in your hands. Only the blade seems to move, the saw and your work doesn't shake around like I had been used to. Included in the box is the saw, 3 blades on the tool itself, 5 blades in a plastic pouch, 2 AA batteries for the laser, and an intruction manual. 50% of People (1/2) found this review helpful. Weaknesses: None yet. Summary: The Laser Guidance really helps to keep cuts straight and was the primary feature that prompted me to purchase this jig saw.
