Strengths: Good highs and mids and suprisingly good bass in the fronts and center speakers. The subwoofer balances the system well.

Summary: I listened to many systems including other polk speaker systems. I decided to purchase this one because of the pleasing performance of this speaker system and the space in my living room, which is not large. I would suggest comparing speaker systems without the subwoofer on. This allowed me to really compare speaker to speaker without competing with the subwoofer. I looked at Bose, Infinity, Sony, and others. In the end I felt that the sound quality is among the best and the price is under $1000. Don't be fooled by some of the $200-300 speaker system price tags. Listening to Polk side by side with Bose made my decision a no brainer. I went with Polk.
