Strengths: Relatively clean installation; decent speed; tech support
Weaknesses: Lacks documentation for networking peripherals; minimum system requirements make many systems incompatible
Summary: Overall, the Hpro200 has worked well. Although I ran into problems configuring my laptops with PCMCI cards. Technical Support is good and will walk you through troubleshooting to resolve most problems. What they will not do is tell you how to share network resources like harddrives or printers. This was considered networking rather than connecting to the internet which is what they helped with. Minimum requirements are Windows 98 second edition or higher and aat least 128K of RAM. I had hoped to use one or two older systems sitting around as terminal but that won't work. It is an an expectably challenging setup procedure but definitely worth it once you've got it working!

Strengths: simple to set up, works consistently.
Weaknesses: no signal strength indicator, difficult to diagnose problems
Summary: This pna router took 10 minutes to set up. It did not work at first because we had splitters on the phone jack and the signal was degraded. Once splitters were removed, this system has worked perfectly every since. Transfer rate between machines is slower than 10mb, but it is fast enough to play music on remote machine. Works well with Toshiba cable modem. Lights in front are clear enough to indicate a problem, but there is little to help fixing a problem. Pinging will tell you where the problem is, but not what the problem is.
