Strengths: Good sound quality. No scratchy or hissy sounds. Has a bass button.
Weaknesses: Only 2 speakers. No huge thumping subwoofer to shake your chair if that's what you're looking for.
Summary: (Called MMS101) These speakers came with my computer. I opted to get them instead of a subwoofer package since I already have speakers with a subwoofer (and I was trying to save money). I figured they were cheap and that I would give them away to a friend or something but I was surprised at their sound quality. They only have 3W of output but they are clear and sound good. Much better than I'd expected compared to the polk audio things that came with another computer. At first I didn't realize they had a volume control because I thought the little silver thing on the side was just decorative. They are a pleasant shape, don't weigh too much, and are easy to move around. They survived falling on the floor a few times without any damage. I don't know if I would set out to buy these particular speakers again because I like to have a subwoofer for my gaming, but for a low end system or just someone who is not picky about subwoofers, they are a great buy. I will definetly try to pick up Philips brand speakers again. If you are looking for them on the Philips website, they are under the multimedia section. You may have to do a search for them though since I have difficulty finding them again since they seem to have just modified their webpage.. Anyways, if you're not looking to spend alot of money and you just want a decent two-speaker output, they are a good choice.
