Strengths: Installation; clarity

Summary: Installation of the toner cartridge is easy. The quality of printing is sharp, clear, and without any smudges. I mainly print simple letters with it, and occasionally copy pages from books and magazines. Copying clarity is satisfactory. Although Samsung says the toner cartridge lasts for 3000 pages, I have not printed or copied anywhere near that many pages, and the printing image is starting to fade. All in all, though, a good product.

Good toner

Strengths: Easy to install

Weaknesses: hard to find locally

Summary: So far so good: easy installation, printing is sharp with excellent fine lines. I always buy OEM cartridges. The compatible ones are not that sharp unless you find a really good one! Highly recommended!

Samsung SCX-4100 toner and drum

Strengths: inexpensive and comes in new sealed box

Weaknesses: does not function as good as the original unit

Summary: This toner / drum came in as advertised in a new packaging but did not deliver the print quality as the original unit. The print was very light and it fades out toward the edges despite on dark print setting. I received an RMA from the vendor for a refund minus return shipping charge.

OK Overall

Strengths: Easy to install

Weaknesses: Hard to find / Doesn't seem to last much

Summary: Overall, I'ts a good toner, but nothing over the ordinary. It's easy to install becuase you just put the whole thing in the printer. I have two problems with the toner:

1 - You can't find it anywhere, except here (thanks Pricegrabber); and

2 - It doesn't last much.

Other than that, it's OK.

Single Toner & Drum for SCX 4100 SamSung

Strengths: Strikingly sharp print, long lasting.

Weaknesses: Don't know of any.

Summary: Great item, long lasting, great printing. I switched to Lazer printing last yr & will never go back to ink jet printing. Good value for the price.
