Strengths: Size and functionality. Nice quality on the radio.
Weaknesses: The software provided.
Summary: The supplied software is not easy to use and does not transfer the song names to the player. Reception quality of the radio is exceptional. I found that by uploading songs using Music Match that I was able to have the player display the song titles.

Strengths: Size, FM tuner, Portable Hard Drive Feature
Weaknesses: Software
Summary: I just got this player today and I am experimenting with it. I can't really complain because I only paid 60 dollars for this. I had read some bad reviews about this player before buying it but couldn't resist to buy because of the price. It really looks good, fairly easy to operate. The only complain I have is the transfer process. I wish there was a way to drag the albums directly from explorer instead of having to use musicmatch software which I absolutely hate. I was reading some comments from a user who was able to use Windows Media Player to transfer songs and I am going to experiment with that. Overall a good bang for the buck.

1 Star ReviewUnresolveable Interface Issues with Music Match
Strengths: Decent sound & easy to read screen.
Weaknesses: Software
Summary: If you are using Musicmatch 10.0 run away from this unit. The device will be recognized intermittently by Musicmatch software. Patches from Phillips & Musicmatch are ineffective at resolving the issue. My wife purchased 2 units..and took them both back. If you have Musicmatch 9.0 you might be OK.

Strengths: cheap, ok sound, ok features, ok battery, solid build, fm radio, small and light weight
Weaknesses: file formats/software, headphones, tech issues, no voice recorder
Summary: Good sound. Like the file storage option. FM radio has excellent reception. Good readable display. very good product for the price.

Details of weaknesses are:

- The software needs to recode the mp3's name to the name format it understands, so you can't just drag songs to the player or easily add them to the player from someone else's computer. The included software needs to see what songs you have, it assigns a database number and then xref's to the name in its database.

- The software is very glitchy. Mine has crashed about 25% of the time.

- headphones don't fit at all. Maybe its my ears, but they fall out all the time.

3 Star ReviewThe Good and Bad
Strengths: Price, Price, Price. High quality ear plugs. Radio is very nice.
Weaknesses: You have to use POS MusicMatch to load the player. Can't just do drag and drop. Doesn't recharge from USB.
Summary: I bought this as a refurbished product for $75 shipped. For that I am willing to put up with a few quirks. The size is actually more like a small flip phone. Credit card my ... It does comes with a nice case with clip. The magnesium body is nice, but the unit is a little on the heavier side. So it might bounce around a bit while running.

Can't drag and drop files and be able to play them.
