Strengths: no problems with installation or operation
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I was skeptical about this product because I had tried an off-brand USB to serial cable in the past, that did not work at all. However, this cable worked fine on both Windows 2000 and Windows XP. It's a great solution for connecting a serial device if you don't have a serial port or PCI slot left.

The manufacturer's rebate processing was very fast also.
