Strengths: Large drawing area, pen is sensitive and responsive and precise, easy to install and to use, just wonderful.
Weaknesses: None yet.
Summary: This is the best tablet that I have ever used. I am a professional graphic designer and this product meets my needs perfectly. Large drawing area, easy to use, pen is very responsive and precise. Installation on my Mac is easy. It is a well made and wonderfully engineered product. Highly recommended!

3 Star ReviewGood tablet but still room for ergonomic improvement...
Strengths: Performs well, comfortable pen, well designed pen holder, tablet buttons speeds up work and reduce need for keyboard keys
Weaknesses: Shiny coated surface of tablet's non-drawing area, mouse doesn't slide easily, touch strips too narrow for fingers
Summary: 2007-01-06 15:17:55 Shiny coated surface of tablet's non-drawing area causes too much friction with the your wrist's skin when drawing and moving your arm. Would have been better with a slightly textured surface to reduce surface contact with your skin so you can move with less resistance. The shiny coating is also made of a thick layer or clear glass-like plastic which optical mice have problems tracking on--which is another big problem for me.

-

The Wacom non-optical mouse's felt fabric bottom causes too much friction with tablet, and therefore doesn't slide around as easily. Wireless mouse works only when moved on top of tablet.

-

Touch strips are too narrow for your fingers and are recessed too deep for optimal comfort during use.

-

Nice upgrade to Wacom's Intuos tablet series, but there's still room for ergonomic improvement.

Strengths: Large drawing area, wireless pen feature, most itutive way to work in photoshot.
Weaknesses: First one was RMA, mouse could be better.
Summary: This is a well put together tablet and is leagues above the competion. I started out with Aiptek HyperPen but all I can say is you get what you pay for.

My first intuos arrived DOA, lights on but no body at home.

Strengths: Great size for those that want to do paper-sized artwork. The wide area matches the screens I use to do artwork.
Weaknesses: I don't like where the cable attaches to the wacom board. It worries me that when I put it in it's case, the cable get crammed into it at a very bad angle for cables.
Summary: I bought the Wacom case for this model, and It makes it carrying it to school very easy. The case is very tight around the corners of the tablet, so that's a small concern about scuffing up the corner
