 Same Great Wireless XBox 360 Controller with New Design Flaws Strengths: - Same performance and technical specs as other 1st party wireless controllers.
- Nice graphics, unique
- Included figurine very nice, detailed
Weaknesses: - Glossy finish
- Sharp edges at seams
- Not everyone will like graphics
Summary: The 1st party wireless controllers for the 360 have been fantastic and this one performs equally as well as all its predecessors. Any Halo fan will appreciate the graphics on the controller itself and the collectible figurine that comes packaged with the controller. However, as with any artwork some people will like it and others will hate it. This controller isn't without its flaws though. In an effort to keep the graphics looking good they have opted for a glossy finish to the top of the controller. This proves an annoyance if you have sweaty palms when you play as the controller will start to feel sticky after long rounds of Halo. Another issue I found with this controller was the seams down the side of the controller were sharp. I am not sure if this was a manufacturers defect on my particular controller or if it was common with the Halo controllers, but there is a sharp edge that is not found on my other controllers. Overall I would say that this controller is probably not one you should go out of your way to buy unless you are 1. A huge Halo fan, or 2. Getting a great deal

Xbox Spartan Controller
Strengths: As Responsive as the regular/MS controller
Weaknesses: Artwork could've been cooler
Summary: I purchased this item (one of many halo-related purchases) as a desperate attempt to hold onto my college youth. Unfortunately, the included halo figurine is really small, and the artwork, while I'm no spawn fan, leaves me wondering if Bungie sold out.

Strengths: Nice design/artwork, bonus Spartan figure, glossy/smooth finish
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I was in search of extra controllers for my Xbox and found this one on sale at Amazon for less than the regular white/black controllers. This controller is comparable in quality/function to the normal ones. The graphics and included halo figure are a nice bonus. Overall, i would say that this is not a neccessity, but a nice addition for any avid halo fan.

Strengths: The graphics are cool,long battery life,Free Spartan figure!
Weaknesses: it is a little expensive but worth the joy it brought my nephews
Summary: I bought 4 of these as gifts. They were a hit. My nephews love Halo. This is a must for any Halo fan. My nephews all played together with the four remotes without interference. The battery lasts a long time. The remote is easy to use and is very well made.

Strengths: Very functional for Xbox games, very nice graphics that's have a high gloss protective finish. Power efficient, the Energizer that come with it lasted 30+ hours of playtime.
Weaknesses: Cost, the xbox 360 controller is already expensive. The added artwork and figurine should not cost an extra $10.00, especially since they did not stock this with rechargable battery.
Summary: The added bumper control provide additional gaming control. Did not drop or interfere with other 2.4 GHz devices (ie wireless network or cordless phone). Ability to turn the console on/off is a nice touch.

Strengths: It's different.
Weaknesses: Just another controller, pricey.
Summary: 2007-12-15 17:03:05 Works fine......A skin would have been a better, cheaper choice. If you need a new controller and are into the Halo thing then go ahead. If you buy it just for the Halo factor, its too pricey. Enjoy

Strengths: Typical controller, great graphics on the front.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This is a great controller with beautiful graphics on the front. The graphics aren't cheap stickers or anything like that; the entire front of the controller was manufactured with the picture on it. The controller is smooth, with an identical button setup to the standard controllers, and a black battery pack blends seamlessly with the black back of the controller.
Also, the Master Chief figure that it came with was awesome: very detailed and sturdy.

Summary: This is perfect, I am a guy who knows what he likes... and I LOVE HALO!.
This is a perfect addition to my XBOX and, I am sure, to many other.
It feels good and every so often you want to look at it whilst waiting for the game to start on BTB Match Making.
I love it and I am sure many others do just for it's art. And the fact it was made by Microsoft so you know you're getting good quality equipment for your console.
If you have a friend who likes Halo? Definitely get this for them. It'll be a lovely surprise.

Summary: I bought 2 of these and they both came with a bonus Halo figure. These look better than the plain ones a must have for halo fans. I would recommend buying this if you are looking for a new wireless controller.

Summary: 2007-11-24 21:25:53 Nothing much to say if you used a Wireless controller for your Xbox 360 before. I would have to say the Xbox 360 controller is my favorite controller of all time. Amazon had a great deal on this controller, so I couldn't pass it up. The art work is stylish. Ive read some reviews where people say the controller is ugly. I don't know about most, but when I play games I look at the screen, not the controller! Word of advice, always buy Microsoft branded controllers. I learned my lesson with past systems where I thought I would save $10 bucks on a 3rd party controller. I find them to be unreliable and cheaply made.

Pretty much the same as any other wireless xbox 360 controller...
Strengths: -Works great like normal controllers
-Comes with a cool little toy master chief figurine
-Has a Halo design on it
Weaknesses: -Not worth any extra money unless you're a die hard Halo fan
Summary: From the thumbnail, I thought the design was a screen shot/digital render from the game. Actually, it's much more like fanart. Sadly, this controller does not improve your Halo skills... maybe try wearing the legendary edition helmet?

Strengths: Cool graphics, feels great, original Microsoft OEM controller.

Summary: This is my favorite controller for the Xbox 360. I love the feel of the slick graphic, and the original OEM controllers simply can't be beat for functionality and reliability. I hope the graphic doesn't wear off, but it doesn't feel cheaply screened on--I think it will outlast my 360! I may be imagining it, but this controller seems lighter than my original one which came with the Xbox. Some people complain about the color of the battery pack--big whoop. This is a smart-looking controller and a great gaming accessory, especially for fans of the Halo series.

Strengths: It is a standard Xbox 360 controller with Halo 3 art work making it look much cooler than the rest. It comes with a bonus action figure.
Weaknesses: Microsoft pricing structure is a little high beyond that no weaknesses.
Summary: 2007-12-06 16:10:55 It looks very cool. The color scheme is vivid and durable. It comes with a Master Chief action figure and which made my son very happy. It was a little pricey for a controller but I would recommend it to anyone who is a Halo 3 fan. If you have the Halo 3 version of the Xbox 360 counsel it is a very nice addition.

Strengths: Attractive
Weaknesses: Overpriced
Summary: Nice controller, with exactly same functionality as standard controllers. Finish is very attractive, as shown in picture, especially for Halo fans (of course).
I bought this on sale in Amazon, so it was an excellent deal. However, they should have included a rechargeable battery for the regular price.
