Strengths: Touch screen, large lcd window, great features.
Weaknesses: NOt as slim as I would have liked, but for all the extras, was a great tradeoff.
Summary: I just bought my Samsung a few weeks ago and love it! I wasn't sure about Samsung for a camera. We actually wanted a Canon. We have had Olympus and Canon and were seriously looking at the Panasonic Lumix. But when I saw the touchscreen, the large size lcd screen and the easy to use featues, I was sold. I have been through 4 digital cameras since they came out and still can't take a good pic. I always had a hard time figuring out all the features and never had the settings correct. I was always frustrated that everyone elses pictures looked great and mine were either too blurry, wrong lighting or something. So as we started looking of course my husband wanted a camera with everything and I was just lost. I am a Realtor and need great shots of houses, rooms, inside and outside. We also travel a lot and I wanted scenic pictures. Just an all around great camera for everything. And I need point and shoot and simplicity. This camera has all that. The touchscreen is awesome. It tells you everything to do. SO SO EASY! I am already taking the best pictures, I can't believe it. The wide lens is great, all the buttons are easy to read, Samsung must have been thinking of me when they designed this camera. I am hooked!!! And the reviews we read about the picture quality not being superb aren't accurate. My pictures are amazing! I have never taken such great photos. So I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants to take great pictures, but has trouble with all the features of a digital camera. It also hooks straight to our HDTV and is hd compatible, so our pictures are on our big tv and look wonderful. It has a face recognition sensor and will focus in on people too. Love it, Love it!!!
