Controls are too simple. Included headphones are bad Summary: I bought this player due to the low price (about $35). It's a good player for the price but it's not as good as the higher priced competitors. The battery life is only about 10hours, while similar MP3 players that use AA battery can get up to 30-40 hours. The displey is really nice, it's backlit and the resolution is plenty good for such a little player. Sound with included headphones is very bad but if you use decent headphones the sound is very good (plenty good for me). 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. Easy use with Mac, relatively good PC software. Weaknesses: Crappy headphones (bad sound, good design as part of the lanyard), sometimes turns off on it's own (evidently a common problem, although it is not often enough to negate the usefulness of this item). Summary: While this thing goes through batteries like crazy, this can be negated with the use of NiMH rechargeable batteries. With a good headphones the sound quallity is very good. The voice microphone is very useful when dealing with unscrupulous bosses. ;) While controls were minimal, they were intuitive and easy to use. Weaknesses: Seems the Technology is mature enough to offer more tools. Main disapointment: the button for going thru music list broke too easily on ours. Summary: 2007-05-19 19:50:57 Turtle buttons into unit when not in use. Increase functional tools - this product has huge potential. Also make more robust - I've purchased two within 8 months and the button offset from top Still broke. I was careful this time. (Button I speak of is by the keychain ring offcenter to top). Summary: Battery life is very short. Every two days I have to replace the battery and I use the player for no more than 3 hours a day. Sometimes I have trouble turning it on so I take the battery out and put it back in to make it work. (annoying). The loudness is poor with the headphones that are included. When in the subway i can bearly hear the music. Next time I would stay away from this mp3 player and I would settle for something with sd card or some other external storage.
