Strengths: 1. Slim design, portable
2. Long battery life
3. Large 2.4" screen
4. Lots of functions, play MP3, video, voice recorder, FM radio, ebook, etc
5. Convenient to transfer data and organize them
Weaknesses: 1. Firmware need to be updated frequently.
2. Support limitted video format
3. You have to buy wall charger separately.
Summary: It's my best mp3 player. I like it more than my ipod. It's has a very small size but a large screen and long battery life. There are lots of functions. So it's not only a mp3 player, rather a multimedia player. The design is stylish too.
There are only some small cons, including the video format support. You have to use specific software included in the product to change the format if it's not supported. It's very good to charge it with your PC via USB. However, when you are travel, you have to buy a wall charger separately.
All in all, it's a great player currently on the market. Worth for the money I spent.

Strengths: Excellent sound quality;
Innovative interface;
Easy to organize files;
Easy to load songs and pictures
Weaknesses: Has odd quirks;
Occasionally freezes or lags
Summary: First off, on the protective covering it said that there was a covering on the front and back of the player, however, there is no visible plastic cover on the back, at least it's not the same as the one on the front. Also, some of the interface is lacking, such as cut off text, and sometimes the player will lag and the song will skip.

Strengths: Compact, sharp design, big screen, sound and video quality
Weaknesses: Not support real-format videos
Summary: Overall I like this compact MP4 player. With the price, it is hard to get a product like this that combines high qualitis of sound and video, sharp design, compact size, loaded functions and long-lasting battery. The touch sensitive control is good but takes a little time to get used of it.

Strengths: Size, video quality, features
Weaknesses: Body quality, interface not consistent. Video/audio sync issue.
Summary: For the price it is an excellent media player. Many features including FM that you won't find in iPod. The sound setting is tuned to the enclosed earpieces. Very good sound. If you use other earpieces with the default setting, bass is TOO much. The body is solid. But my Meizu's transparent plastic top section doesn't connect well with the black section which leaves some air gap in some places. The user interface is not consistent for audio and video. The conversion software is not the same as mentioned in the menu. Video/audio don't sync well for some videos (not sure if it is a conversion issue). Touch pad a big too sensitive.

Strengths: Screen size, high quality sounds, quick charge battery, very good video quality. Auto scan FM stations
Weaknesses: Touch controls sometimes are too sensitive.
Summary: Overall this is a very good media player. I specially like the 2.4" LCD screen, which displays the whole title of the song or audio book. The sounds of the FM radio stations are better than that of the other mp3 players. The quality of the video is a nice surprise. I would recommend this over Ipod nano and Sansa E series MP3 players.

Strengths: Brilliant big screen for its small size. Rich featured MP4 player. Great sound quality, video performance is very smooth. Shiny back metal cover makes it more attractive. Small, thin and stylish.
Weaknesses: touch sensitive control sometimes not easy to use, videos need to be converted before playing.
Summary: Overall it's a great little MP4 player. It includes extra features like FM, voice recorder, ebook viewer, etc. The best part of it is its big and bright screen: vivid color and great resolution on such a small machine. The result is obviously good when playing videos, it's very satisfactory to use. The sound quality is also great with adjustable equalizers. The touch sensitive control is actually easy to use, but sometimes because of its small footprint, I might touch the wrong place so it'll screw things up. The back cover is made of some shiny metal, so basically you can use it as a mirror.;) The only gripe so far is the video converting procedures, actually it's now for almost all mp4 players, you need to convert videos before putting it there. The converting speed is not shabby, and the size is good, about 1/10 of original file.
Meizu is still the best in the category, no doubt. I'm also waiting to purchase its successor Meizu M6SE, which will come by the end of the year and improve a lot too.

Strengths: Great quality video, super sound, very tiny and portable, comes with built-in screen protector.
Weaknesses: Must convert videos to Xvid format. Other than the supplied conversion software, hard to find programs that will automatically do the job.
Summary: This is a great multimedia device. Videos are sharp, sound is very good (but a little too bass-heavy for my taste). Accessories are hard to find, but the supplied pouch and carry strap are adequate to protect it somewhat. A wall charger would be welcome, since you have to charge the thing via the usb port. Since it is a flash-based player and had no moving parts, it is better suited to be used during exercise than my hard drive-based ipod, but I have to find a universal case that will protect it. Videos are converted into Xvid, which saves a lot of space, which is good given the 4GB storage. The converter software included on the CD so far has worked fine for me in converting my ipod videos. I have tried to find other programs but trying to get them to work correctly with the Meizu's video specifications has been a challenge. All in all, this is a great player equal to the ipod and cheaper. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent video/audio player.

Strengths: Portable size, professional design, excellent auido and video!
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: THis is the best MP3 & video player in the market. The size is very portable. Very good looking and design. The audio qulaty is perfect, much better than my iPod Nano. Recognized as flash drive by windows withou driver setup (much more convenient than iPod). The video quality is very impressive too! The price is just $70 for a 4GB size. Highly recommended!

Strengths: very compact, sleek look, never takes more than a few hours to fully charge, easy drag and drop to upload files, compatible with all types of files, tons of features, good sound quality
Weaknesses: does not include power adapter, headphones broke after 3 months, randomly lags, sound quality deteriorates as volume increases, not many available accessories available for meizus
Summary: I would completely recommend anyone i know to buy the Meizu. It's slick, compact, and its very thin. The battery life lasts at least ten hours, and it never takes more than a few hours to fully charge after going dead. I like how the back of the Meizu can double as a mirror and the many other features it has.
People always mistake it for an iPod, but i think its much better. Dragging and dropping all the files is super easy and i have put at least 900 songs in it. I have not tried playing videos, but the sample one already on the player has okay quality.
The headphones that came with the player are malfunctioning just after 2 months. I plug them into the player, but when i start playing the music, it starts and stops and starts and stops, unless i hold the wire at a certain angle.
The Meizu comes with headphones, a double head USB cord,a cleaning cloth, a pouch, a strap, a manual, and an installation CD. There are no accessories specifically for the Meizu. It can only charge when connected through the usb cord to the computer. I had to buy my own power adapter so i could charge into a wall outlet, but it was only $15, much cheaper than Apple power adapters.
Sound quality getts fuzzy as the volume increases, both in headphones and speakers i hooked it up to. I have dropped the player many many times and it works still. It lags sometimes, but turning it off then on again usually fixes it.
Although this is my first mp3 player to purchase, I believe purchasing the Meizu was a good choice. I would definitely consider purchasing the Meizu if they come out with an 8gb. Buy it!
