Strengths: Ease of use; menu-driven just like a cell phone.
Weaknesses: Indicator light on the top of the handset should be off unless a message has been received by the base answering machine. The handset base should have an LED that indicates the phone is charging.
Summary: Would like the base answering machine to indicate the NUMBER of new messages it has received--either by the number of flashes (equal to the number of NEW messages) or by displaying the actual number of NEW messages or by voice saying the actual number of NEW messages.

Strengths: Easy to use menu system. Clear audio and range. Belt clip is handy for keeping the phone close by as I work around the house. Batteries hold a charge well. Good security.
Weaknesses: None so far. Time will tell how well the batteries keep their charge.
Summary: I recently received the 3 handset version KXTG1033. It was an instant hit with my whole family. Now they have a phone they can roam with and use as an alarm clock. The intercom feature was a big hit. I don't have to yell upstairs at my kids anymore. So I had to get this extra handset. Now they each have one sitting right by their computer monitor so they can see when mom wants to talk to them even if they have a headset on. I'm also glad to have a wireless phone that has good security features and won't interfere with my wireless network.

3 Star ReviewMy opinions about the KXTGA101S Cordless Handset
Strengths: I like how this phone has larger buttons than my last phone.
Weaknesses: The volume of this phone doesn't go quite as loud as I would like. My other handsets' volume will go up 10 bars and this one only goes up 4.
Summary: This phone is easy to handle, easy to operate, and the speaker phone feature is nice. I don't consider myself to be very advanced in the technological world, so I find that these simple features are enough for me.

Strengths: Phone
Weaknesses: not sure
Summary: Hey, check this thing out! When I push the talk button, it allows me to call people all over the world. I like the fact that there is no interference from other products on the frequency.
