Strengths: Excellent Colors, viewing angels and much more

Summary: I bought a 47" 1080p westinghouse about 5 months ago and thought it was amazing..then one day while i was shopping around i stopped by BB and checked out their selection of tv's. i was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how good this LG set looked ~ so i bought it and brought it home. Once i set it up i truelly reallized how superior it was to the Westy, first of the blacks were much blacker as the whites were much whiter, the screen is very bright, colors are very rich and have excellent depth, viewing angels are insane - i can be looking at this tv from the side and it looks just as good as looking head on! I'v got an Xbox 360 hooked up via HDMI, HD cable via component and an HD-DVD player via HDMI..they all look just amazing and the finish on the tv itself looks stunning..all glossy black! Needless to say this is a set i plan on keeping for atleast a little while! :)

Strengths: Great Picture Quality, no screen door effect. Great piano black bezel.

Summary: I picked up this tv because of the great picture quality it displayed at the store. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to recreate the quality at home. Was I wrong! Blacks are as black as I've seen on a LCD. Hooking this tv up to DirecTV HD looks incredible. Images are crisp and clear. With no blurring or pixelating. Picture looks good from close up or far away, with no screen door effect when sitting close up. This TV also is beautiful to look at with the glossy piano black finish bezel. If this set is in your price range, its seriously worth considering. A great value compared to the more expensive Samsung and Sony.

Summary: This TV is totally awesome. It has a fantastic picture. I was a little leary at first because my husband and I went to the store just to window shop and there were so many TVs to choose from. And after 2 hours of standing there looking at the all the different brands and sizes, the screens all started to look the same. But this TV has a beautiful picture up close, from a distance and even from the side. I am thoroughly impressed with LG and their product and have already recommended this company and TV to my friends, family and coworkers.

Strengths: Great Picture
Tons of inputs
Weaknesses: Lack of PIP support (as far as I can tell)
Summary: I love this TV. This is my first HDTV so I am probably rating this too high for what it is, but it has a great picture. When comparing this with a lot of other TVs, I liked the picture much more and ended up pulling the trigger.
It powers on fairly quickly, is relatively quiet in terms of fan noise, looks amazing and has a great viewing angle. There is not a moment in the day I regret anything about this TV.
Another feature I like is the USB. You can put a memory stick with photos or songs and put them up through the tv. Great for when folks come over to the house with photos.
The one feature I would like is PIP support. I can't seem to find it and don't think it supports that. It would be a nice to have but is not essential

Strengths: Crispy HD picture
Weaknesses: Weak sound
Summary: LG makes good LCD TV. This set has enough input configuration for different set up. At first, the picture is a little dull on regular and SD. After a few days, the picture has improved. It probably needs break in. The HD is brilliant all the way. The volume needs to turn up past halfway mark to get to a decent audible level.

Strengths: Magnificent colors and sound. Fantastic
Weaknesses: No swivil base.
Summary: I searched for a new T.V. online. I was going to buy the same T.V. from HSN. I cancelled the order 5 days after I bought it because BeachCamera gave me a far better price. They also delivered the set before HSN even thought about shipping it. The T.V. is quality in and out. The colors are so vivid. The sound is really great hooked up to our Bose wave radio. Wow!!! I highly recommend this T.V.

Strengths: Clear picture, great sound, huge improvement from our other television.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I debated for weeks which tv to buy, and after seeing them in person at an electronics store, decided that this sharp looking LG screen (LG also supplies parts to Sony I was told by the salesguy) was the least expensive, largest, best screen for the price. Such clear quality picture. Absolutely worth it.
