Lots of connections in back & side of TV. Weaknesses: None, except maybe the stand could swivel, but it's not a big deal. Summary: We compared several brands & narrowed it down to the LG & Samsung. LG was $1349 shipping included about $150 less than Samsung. the TV has great color & sound especially when connected to a separate surround sound unit. Maybe it's because we have it in the room and usually use it to watch DVDs. It comes with HDTV. High resolution. Summary: The picture is very clear. This model is perfect, and was easy to hook up with my existing systems. No problems at all....so far! Summary: I am satisfied with the LG 47 LB5D. Mine is an august model - from the serial number. Initially compared it with Sony XBR3 and Sharp 62 series in Circuit City. Was impressed with the color, clarity and contrast. For a sub $1.7K TV, I am happy over-all. Audio could have been better, but I have an Onkyo HT-S904 to cover for it. Used the digital audio out from TV to feed into the amplifier ..and it just rocks !! Its definitely bang for the buck, esp for the kind of deal I got. 50% of People (1/2) found this review helpful. We got this TV for digital signal. It is heavy but I'm not sure if it's a regular weight comparing to other brand name TV/LCD. There are a lot of functions.
