Strengths: Lightweight, DUAL XLR Inputs on Rear, Pro Features for a great price.
Weaknesses: No Iris Ring. It can be programmed however to change the properties of the focus ring to Iris functionality.
Summary: I have used this camera Day in and Day out for over a year now without any issues whatsoever. I keep it clean and in it's case daily. Use it daily for legal video, forensics examinations, as well as outdoor events. Have two more on order.

    Product Experience:
    3 Days
Strengths: adjusts quickly to brightness, without overly stopping down shoulder mount - ability to hold steady smaller crew to support system only basic lights setup for night coverage supports 3 microphones
Weaknesses: is it really - must use wireless microphone to input best Audio. The built in microphone is good for only for foley and background noise.
Summary: I work a municipal television station as a cameraman, found it easy to learn and use. Panasonics AG-dv60 produces very good color, as compared our 1/2 and 2/3 of and inch cameras, and it is much lighter to carry. If you want professional results this camera is half of the solution. You should get at least one wireless xlr Mic, lights, and a mini-dv vtr for transferring to your edit system.
