Strengths: Wii controls are fun
Weaknesses: Landings can be frustrating
Summary: You control planes using Wii motion controls & it was even more fun than it sounds. Hitting other planes or ships feel great in this game.

This game was a port of one on the PS2 , but the Wii edition plays really great.

Your heart will start pounding as you get into some intense battles. The graphics are decent & sound is good. One area where it can get a little annoying is when you land the planes. It is very easy to crash them while landing.

This is one of the most underappreciated game on Wii & the fact that it is available for a bargain price now makes it a perfect addition to your Wii games library

3 Star ReviewCheap filler for your Wii library
Strengths: $5 pricegrabber bonus
Weaknesses: single player, flight controls
Summary: My previous experience with jet fighter games is limited to Top Gun for NES and Falcon 3.0 for PC from the early 90's. I found both of those games to be more fun that this one - mainly due to the lack of multiplayer in Heatseeker. Don't get me wrong - this game is fun, but it did not meet my expectations for a game of this genre. You basically fly around and shoot everything in sight with unlimited ammo. The Wii remote is used to "point" in the direction you want to fly. I would have preferred using it in some sort of flight stick simulation - this is, after all a jet fighter game. The saving grace is the price - I bought this game for $15 from circuit city, and the $5 pricegrabber bonus makes it even cheaper. If you are looking for a realistic jet fighter/flight sim game - this is NOT the one. If you are looking for something inexpensive to fill out your game collection or looking for a change of pace from other Wii games - this fits the bill.

3 Star ReviewGood enough for the price
Strengths: An interesting and challenging shooter game
Weaknesses: Only for single player, and control is a little bit difficult
Summary: If you're looking for an interesting and challenging shooter game Heatseeker is a good choice. The graphics seem fine and in many cases beautiful. The gameplay is always challenging and whatever unique elements they add to each level really provides a new and exciting challenge to the player each time.Worth the money.

Strengths: Fun on the Wii, Gampeplay is entertaining
Weaknesses: Gfx could be better, needs a little spruce up in that area
Summary: The gameplay is fun, and i don't know if theres much more they could do, aside from making graphics better, maybe give the game online play or multiplayer so you could dogfight or do coop together overall its a fun game and reminded me of afterburner when i saw it on the shelf, so i got it and wasn't disappointed.

3 Star ReviewHeatseeker
Strengths: Fun on the Wii
Weaknesses: not great graphics
Summary: For the wii, its a fun game to have and play, but compared to the other flight simulator type games out there, this game doesn't really compare. If you are looking for a flight game for the wii then get this, if you are looking for the best, go elsewhere.

3 Star ReviewNot that bad, but little effort was put into the port
Strengths: Good use of Wii controls, decent game itself
Weaknesses: Terrible graphics, little effort put into porting from PS2/PSP
Summary: This is a port of a PS2/PSP game and it's far too obvious. The graphics aren't even good for a PS2 game, it looks more like something the Dreamcast could pull off. The Wii controls are implemented well and the game (as far as storyline and glitches) is good. There's nothing terribly distracting that keeps from enjoying it. The voice acting is terrible and the graphics are mediocre at best (and for some reason the proportions seem off), but as far as the action in the game and the controls it's good. Someone who doesn't really care about those things and just loves arcade jet fighter games will enjoy this title, but not anybody else.
