Strengths: Good heavy-duty all-purpose mic
Weaknesses: Bit expensive, actually a bit too heavy, cord a bit too long at times
Summary: I've had this mic for a while, but am a little disappointed it didn't terminate in a 1/8" rather than a 1/4" plug. Sure I can use an adapter, but it makes the plug very large and sometimes a bit insecure. But this is a really a minor gripe and depends on your use.

The quality of the sound seemed very good as well as the frequency response. Thank goodness it comes with the clamp for a microphone stand -- none of the ones I had fit it. This will be used for general purpose recordings -- i.e. not singing. Haven't tried to hook it up to a PC yet, but with my stereo system it holds its own.

Strengths: very good sound. long cord for moving around
Weaknesses: a bit heavy.
Summary: Got the mic for 3 days and very please with the performance. Very good sound quality and so far the best mic I have bought for consumer usage. The price is attractive as well. Feel a bit heavy though.

Strengths: clear sound, not too pricy
Weaknesses: none so far.
Summary: We bought this one for our karaokae, and turns out it's a great mic! We bought ATR-20 before, but the vocal quality is terrible. For $30 each, I would say it worths every penny.

Strengths: Loud and clear, the quality of the sound is also much better than most of the cheaper mics I've used. Also a sturdy construction.
Weaknesses: A little heavier than the mics I have used, but that only means it's better quality for audio equipment.
Summary: Although this mic is more expensive than others that just "does the job," sound quality corresponds to what you pay for. And also I do not have to get close to the mic to get louder sounds like the other mics.
