Strengths: Best engineered, smooth, close shave, no razor burn! I travel to Europe and the dual voltage system lets me use it instead of messy, old fashioned blades.
Weaknesses: A bit pricey and it needs a travel case.
Summary: This is my fourth eletric shaver and three of the four have been Brauns. My last Braun was a Synchro which was good but this baby is most excellent. German engineering with precision fit and finish deliver a very close, comfortable shave.

Strengths: Great Design, Close shave
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I switched from a Norelco shaver to Braun. Getting closer shave in less time. I use it to shave not only my face but entire head also. Had the Braun 8000 Activator before purchasing this one. My wife is using the 8000 on her legs now and just loves it. Braun Shavers are #1 in my book!

Strengths: Clean, close shave, self-cleaning razor, long battery life
Weaknesses: Trading one consumable cost for another, pod isn't transportable
Summary: The Braun Pulsonic 9595 is the first electric razor I've had in six years. I've gone through numerous blade razors through the years, and the consumable costs were getting ridiculous. The Braun Pulsonic 9595 gives a very nice, close shave, and the vibrating head system does an excellent job of getting the close shave in without any real razor burn. The charging and cleaning pod is a great touch, and it makes for a clean and charged razor every time. However, taking the cleaning and charging pod around all the time isn't worth doing, though the razor cleans well enough with water. The cleaning cartridges end up being another consumable cost, at around $4-5 per month, which was much less than I was spending on blades and shaving cream. I've been using it for nearly four months and haven't looked back yet.

Strengths: This is like shaving with a blade. The razor is light, fast and quick
Weaknesses: pricy but worth it; you need to activate the cleaning process, it is not automatic
Summary: I have been using electric shavers for years (the SchickDays). My last Braun was purchased six years ago. It still works fine but I thought I would try the latest technology. It is truly amazing how fast and close you can shave with this razor. The razor is half the weight of the old Braun and amazingly fast. The foil is as sharp as a blade and so smooth without any razor burn. Go for the extra bucks it is well worth it.

Strengths: As good a shave as razors
Weaknesses: Price, cheap feel to the plastics in the cleaning base station
Summary: Just got this shaver as a Christmas gift from my wife, and I must say it is awesome! The shave I am getting after initial use is as good as with a Fusion razor. I have sensitive skin and get painful razor burn after every shave, which is why I never shaved everyday. Just hated it. Not to mention putting on cold shaving gel early in the morning during the winters. I am still trying the Pulsonic out, and they say it takes a good three weeks for your face to get adjusted to a new shaver. Good thing Braun provides a 30-day guarantee - though I do not anticipate taking them up on that offer. Even with a couple of shaves, I am getting as close a shave as my razor. And the razor burn is gone!

Strengths: Close shave, battery life
Weaknesses: A bit loud, have to clean basically daily
Summary: I've used electrics in the past and never have I been impressed with the results. This all changed with this razor. It is by far the closest shave I've received. Fast, the battery lasts a long time, and just looks downright cool with the LCD screen.

Strengths: wiskers above any other razor
Weaknesses: None
Summary: always clean close shave,lasts 12 hours on my med. wiskers,the replacement lasted me 45 days,but it was dirty.Manuf.recomends every 30 days I paid $8.99 at harmons discount ,walmart price - $11.79, cvs 10.79 This shaver gives an easy shave & close always clean!!

Strengths: Great fast, close shave
Weaknesses: Loud
Summary: I replaced my expensive Norelco with this equally expensive Braun. I have to say that this one is quicker and closer. It is way loud, but it does a better job. My other one had a longer lasting battery but the self cleaning system broke. This one seems like it will last longer. I recommend it.

Strengths: Everything about this unit is fantastic.
Weaknesses: He hasn't found one yet.
Summary: My husband liked it so much he bought one for his dad for Christmas! This is just a fantastic piece of equipment. Worth every penny. I would highly recommend this razor.

Strengths: Self cleaning and rechargeable
Weaknesses: Makes a lot of noise when cleaning itself
Summary: This shaver cleans a lubricates itself after every use. Never had the time to properly clean other shavers after each use so each shave was worse than last between cleanings. With this shaver it is like using a new shaver each time it is used.

 DOES NOT PULSONICALLY SHAVE YOU ! Strengths: Shaves your cheeks nicely but that is about it! If you want to shave under your chin and neck, forget about it!
Weaknesses: DOES NOT GET EVERY HAIR! WILL CUT YOU IF YOU TRY TO GET UNSHAVEN AND MISSED HAIRS! LOUD NOISE! CHEAP PLASTIC CASE FOR A $209 SHAVER!
Summary: I read the instructions, and followed all the steps. I charged until it was full. I cleaned it like it said. I shaved exactly as instructed at a 90 degree angle with my face and with steady slow motions. The pivoting head does nothing to pick up stray hairs. False advertising; it did not use pulsonic waves to pick up stray hairs. It just made a loud noise.

Strengths: Best shave you will ever get!
Weaknesses: Seems cheaply made
Summary: I have had Braun shavers for years and decided to replace my 8595 with the Pulsonic. The new advanced cutter/foil combo is a vast improvement over the older, 2 part design. The moving long hair part is great for those hairs that are a pain to get under you chin and on your neck. I was disappointed with the fact that the entire shaver and cleaning housing is made from light weight plastic. Even my 8595 had SOME metal! I guess only time will tell if this effects the longevity.
