Strengths: Numerous inputs, sturdy construction, plenty of power, clean sounds, casters provided for easy transport
Weaknesses: No effects
Summary: This amp provides clean sounds across a wide spectrum of frequencies from highs to lows. It has ample power to drive your sound to blend with other band members, even loud rock guitars. Ability to link with another KC550s for stereo is a feature I may take advantage of in the future. I like the low impedance input for a mic....use that for individual practicing of vocals with keyboard. Would have liked a basic set of effects, but all in all still a good value for a mainstay keyboard amp. Roland has a good reputation with their keyboard amps and I trust them to deliver. So far, I have not been disappointed. I would recommend this amp for those considering a keyboard/synth amplifier for solo or band performance.
