Strengths: portable, tone, speaker/line outputs, headphone input, value, weight
Weaknesses: no footswitch
Summary: This is one of the best values in music. For under 100 bucks you get a tube amp with great tone that is perfect for the house, apartment and rehearsal.
+ The tone is awesome, perfect for rock music with the right pedal (the onboard gain is pretty good but not my preference)
+ The unit is lightweight and portable
+ There is a headphone jack
+ You can connect the unit to a speaker cab. I took this little guy to rehearsal and had it cranked to 10. I got awesome tone and was loud enough with no feedback from the speakers!
I only wish this guy was 30 watts or so and a little bigger (yet lightweight and less than 25 pounds) and included a footswitch input. I would pay 5Xs the price for such a product.
Bottom Line, buy one you will not be disapointed (unless you want to play a football stadium or something) this guy does with it is advertised to do (practice) perfectly and can even keep up in a rehearsal setting where there are proper dynamics and the focus is on tone instead of volume.
For people that just want to be loud, get a half stack and turn that up to whatever tickles your fancy.
