Strengths: big, beautiful screen; dvd burner; 60 gig hd - plenty of everything for typical home use/amateur photog Weaknesses: firewire would be nice, and longer battery life, but for the price who's complaining? Summary: My Averatec 6200 works as advertised - cannot ask for more than that! Only paid $1,000 and don't know anyone that matches-up the big screen, dvd burner and big hd at that price. Larger battery is available for those concerned, but don't see this model as a road warrior's dream anyway. Strengths: Great second notebook for people on the go while traveling.An the DVD player is a plus. Has everything needed to get your work done . Weaknesses: No parellel port for printer hookup. You'll need USB printer cable. Summary: Working here in Iraq with all the fine sand blowing daily. A cheap notebook that you can use for work and play.
