Summary: The only thing better than a JL 500 is a JL 1000 PERIOD. Anyone who says otherwise is NUTZ! I have a Punch Fosgate 550 and it can't touch my JL 500. Bang for the buck can't beat it and the quality is upmost. My Escalade sounds better with the Kicker DCVR124 set up than Another guy running two amps and 4 subs that I know is Fosgate. He spent way more money than me and my truck rocks his. Can't go wrong with a JL amp, if you can't afford it, save your money and buy one later.
