Strengths: Easy to use
Weaknesses: Control panel on unit has limited functions.
Summary: Easy to learn. I like the feature on the DVD player to review photo CD's. Search function is easy to use. One of the few units I could find that an an RF in and RF out jack.

Strengths: VHS has good quality, fast forward, rewind and searching are fast.
Weaknesses: Has a tendancy to occasionaly forget to record.
Summary: I am overall pleased with the unit however it does seem to have some problems. It occasionally needs to be reset, this is not a problem because the manufacturer obviously knew this and added an easy reset feature!
