I had no trouble hooking it up to my new Samsung LCD tv. DVDs look and sound great. We have an unusual configuration with the tv in the corner of the room due to the fireplace. As a result, our speakers aren't positioned in the ideal locations, but we haven't noticed any problems with this. Overall, the HT-X70 is not the fanciest system out there, but so far it is a solid performer for the price. 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. Weaknesses: - Some times DVD gets stuck in DVD player - Too much wires Summary: I have initially purchased BOSE GS series 2 home theater for my 18* 20 living room , the sound quality of BOSE was good but it was not able to fill my room with sorround .I looked around some more speaker sets and i liked from ONKYO but the size was too big for speakers and hence i bought this item as advised by my local store . This home theater is good with excellent sound quality . Easy hooked up with my samsung plasma and i enjoying watching movies on it . Over all i love this system.
