Strengths: Portability and pretty good sound. I was impressed with the bass response from these. I also like the option to use them in stereo or mono mode - buy one or two.
Weaknesses: Not weather proof...just resistant. Per suggestions of others, don't leave them out in a pouring rain. I'm not going to test the wisdom of others. Distance will be affected by transmitter location.
Summary: I had one of these prior to this purchase and was pleased enough with it to buy another. Transmitter is to be plugged into the headphone connection of your stereo. Without an A/B switch sound to wired speakers is cutoff when plugged into headphone connection. With an A/B switch on your stereo you've got music in the house from your wired speakers, music on the deck from one wireless and music in the garage from the other wireless. - The air is alive with the sound of music. -

Strengths: It is great to be able to listen to music outside without dragging a boombox outside. The speaker can be moved to where I am working with no worries about "the cord" reaching.
Weaknesses: A little difficult to get set up.
Summary: The speaker is a little difficult to set up and get tuned in. But if you take your time, read the directions and follow them completely, you should be able to get it set up to receive pretty good sound quality. I only bought one, but I wish I had purchased 2 so I could have stereo sound.
