1 Star ReviewSC101TNA SC101T Storage Central Turbo
Strengths: None. The device finds the capacity for the installed SATA drives but cannot create a drive for access. Keeps on saying to delete the drive it fails to create and try again. Nothing to delete and trying again fails again and again
Weaknesses: Out of the box failure.
Summary: 2007-09-09 12:36:18 www.nextwarehouse.com...

is unresponsive to my request for return instruction for refund. All attempts have been ignored. Will try to fax them. Online is best they say, but it is just to easy for them to ignore.

1 Star ReviewAwful Product - Worse than useless
Strengths: Looks
Weaknesses: formating is horrible. Talks to the network constantly and slowing everything down. It has a purposely installed 15 min timeout on file transfers (actaully 2-3 min.). Imagine loading 2TB.
Summary: Netgear obviously only focused on the appearance of the thing. It has a total screwball formatting program that won't work with existing data. This is the only product with a 15 min time-out and it will hold the largest hard drives. In 12 hours of restarting every 2-3 min., I only got it to load 6gig of data. The router showed this thing communicates constantly and at least twice the rate as my 15MB internet connection. Do not buy. Tech support basically said Netgear uses costmers as guinea pigs to find and solve their own problems - Oh yeah and tell them how you did it too. Shocking that a company can get away with this stuff and the stores have to deal with complaints, tech support and returns. Most expensive paperwight on my desk - or a holder for my 2 TB. drives that I now have no place to put or use.

1 Star ReviewWARNING
Strengths: UNKNOWN - Software install destroyed windows xp, unable to boot. Had to reinstall winxp.
Weaknesses: See above.
Summary: Make sure to do a complete backup of your hardrive...you will need it to restore the damage this product causes. Customer service claim they can not help. Beware of "special price"...clearly they are dumping this load of c**p.
