Strengths: Accurate,Easy to use.
Weaknesses: Alarm needs tighter heat zone ie: Should alarm at 350, not at 360 or 355.
Summary: I am a commercial kitchen equipment technician. I use the maveric to calibrate ovens. It is a great tool! I use the timmer to show me how long the oven holds temp. The magnets on the back are great as well. I recomend this highly.
