 Beware of Motorola Support Strengths: Good phone, good features
Weaknesses: Support is non-existent
Summary: I bought an unlocked phone and thought it was a good deal, until I tried to use the Motorola Phone Tools... The version that I received from my phone was a little out of date and it did not even recognize the phone or list it as an option to connect with. I tried to ask the hellomoto.com support site and was told to buy a new copy of the software - ????????????? I just paid over $250 for the phone and opened the box. Now they want to charge me more money for an out of date CD they included in the box. I bought the phone in the US, however, I found out that since I am using the phone overseas (Germany) Motorola US will not provide any support. They said to use German Motorola. I am a US citizen working with the US Air Force and I just happened to be working here for now. And in a little while will move again. I do not speak, read, write, or understand German yet. However, Motorola US will NOT provide any assistance. NONE. Their only response was to ignore my additional requests for assistance. My advise if you are looking for a true global phone to travel the world with, look else where. Find someone who will provide worldwide support.
