Strengths: Speedy burns, easy to follow install and use

Weaknesses: With the software- when I reconfigured my CD-ROM and this drive, the software couldn't find the RW drive and I had to reinstall the software, all in all a very MINOR problem.

Summary: This is my first time to use a CD-R/RW drive and so far I am very impressed with this technology. As for this drive, I had the easiest time with making audio and data CDs. It creates both in no time flat. I use the DirectCD the most, this allows me to read/write to a CD-RW disk just like it was another drive. Great drive and good software bundle.

I just bought the Iomega ZipCD 12x10x32 CD-RW driv ...

Strengths: Fast burn speeds, copies 700MB CD's in five minutes or less. Filled a blank 700MB CD with PC data in under 5 minutes.

Weaknesses: Haven't tested it with a CD-RW yet.

Summary: I just bought the Iomega ZipCD 12x10x32 CD-RW drive. This thing is a blast! I managed to back-up all of my pertinent data onto four 700MB CD's in under half an hour. My first burner was an Acer 4x4x24, it it takes almost 45 minutes or longer to burn just one CD. If you are an avid burner, and need a new one, then the Iomega 12x10x32 is right for you. If you are jsut starting out, then it's great because it's so fast that you hardly even notice the time. I haven't had one Buffer Under-run error yet either. By this burner, it's a good deal!
