Strengths: Like the Real Thing
Weaknesses: Difficult to get started golfing
Summary: This is my 40 year-old husbands favorite Wii game. He is an avid golfer and the Tiger Woods PGA Tour game lets him "play golf" in the dead of winter in Northern Indiana. He did say that the "tutorials" are tough to get through, but once you're done - it's smooth sailing.

Strengths: Good graphics for Wii. Remote fairly accurate.
Weaknesses: Almost same as 07 with few extra eye candy.
Summary: 2007-12-03 17:21:16 If you can find the 07 game for cheap, get it. Otherwise, I would get this game if only you are a big golf fan. Only sad part is you can't scan your face in.

Strengths: It's very realistic as you were playing as in a real baseball game
Weaknesses: It's a little borring and repeatitive at some time
Summary: It's a good game for playing when you are with your friends and it's better than wii sports I'm sure that people who like baseball will love this game as me, and this game contains the most known players of all the world

Strengths: Fun to swing the Wii-Mote, Tons of world-class players, Nice "career" mode that will keep you busy
Weaknesses: No major updates from '07, Not for the "casual" gamer...
Summary: I've always been a HUGE fan of the Tiger Woods series...I've gotten one about every year since '04 for the Playstation. As such, I was pretty excited about it coming out for Wii! That said, this game has been fun and lived up to my expectations...it has everything I want, like the long career mode, customizable characters, and famous players/course. So if you're REALLY into the series, you'll likely want the game. That said, the game is a disappointment in a few key areas: 1) While it's cool to swing the Wii-Mote, it's not super accurate...that's to say, if you've got a natural slice, it might not happen in the game--you'd REALLY have to turn one over to make it go off line. 2) It takes a pretty long time to master all the skills you'll need to be "good"...and it also takes a while to play a match or tournament. So the game isn't for those who just want to pick it up and play for 10 or 15 minutes. 3) There aren't any major upgrades here from '07...and as such, it might not be worth the $50--find a cheap, used copy of '07 if you can.

All in all, I really enjoy this game, but I might've just stuck with '07 had I known this game wouldn't go much further...hopefully '09 WILL push the limits.

Strengths: The best user interface I've ever experienced. Blows golden tee out of the water hazard!
Weaknesses: If you're used to the golf games where the focus is on timing with the little energy bars, you'll have a steep learning curve.
Summary: If you play golf in real life, this game is easy to get comfy with. Go get this game and you'll once again be cursing your slice like a wounded pirate.

Enjoy
