Weaknesses: Controls are somewhat difficult to manage. Summary: For the first time, every portion of your game is recorded from your opening drive on the first hole in Play Now mode to your final putt in the FedEx Cup Championship. I really like the additional courses that are available on 08. You can post your most amazing and unthinkable performances on EA Sports GamerNet, a new interactive gaming hub that hosts user created content online. You can take on challenges set by others to determine the better golfer. Whether you’re uploading an unbeatable round or the craziest shot, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 is a great game. The addition of the Fed-Ex Cup is great fun. You play a series of tournaments and try to get yourself among the leaders and earn your way into the FedEx Cup. Very cool. I think this feature is best used if you create a golfer and try to build his stats and attributes through your play. They have included more of the PGA tour golfers in this version and have even added LPGA golfers as well. Also new for 2008 is the Confidence meter. The Confidence meter is active for every shot and tells you how confident your virtual golfer feels over each shot. As you play more and more rounds and play similar shots your confidence will grow. Also have great courses to play with my favorite being Cog Hill Golf Club. To Conclude the game is close to perfect and I highly recommend it to anyone with $60 to spend and looking for hours of fun. If you are a fan of the previous versions, you will quickly find yourself in familiar with the layout and controls of the game. Gameplay is great with the exception of a slightly more touchy control than past generations. As usual, there are a number of course to choose from with the addition of a few more courses. A nice addition to the game is the ability to shorten the number of tournament rounds for those with time limitations. Overall, the slightly improved graphics and added courses make it a good by for those who currently do not have a previous Tiger Wood PGA Tour game.
