2 Star ReviewTiger Woods PGA Tour 08
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: No improvement or difference from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 and actually has less to offer
Summary: This is the PS2 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08. First off, if you have Tiger Woods 07, you can stop reading here. There is nothing new in the 08 edition that would interest you. The 08 edition is basically the same as the 07 edition with less to offer. There are more golf pros but fewer courses. Gameplay, graphics, and sound are all pretty much the same. The putting preview is back. No new game modes. The only new addition is a tattoo editor. I would not recommend this game. Pick up Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 instead.

2 Star ReviewTiger Woods PGA Tour 08
Strengths: It's still a Tiger Woods PGA Tour title. You can also skip through your opponents' turns. A few new courses. That's about it.
Weaknesses: Absolutely no major improvements over PGA Tour 07. Fewer courses than the previous year.
Summary: This year's edition of PGA Tour 08 has 23 pros on the roster, 18 courses (as opposed to 21 from last year), challenges are shorter & more repetitive. Nothing has changed at all in terms of game play, as game modes are identical to last year's. The PS3 & XBox 360 versions at least incorporated a photo import mode so you can upload your face onto your character. The PS2 version got a tattoo editor. (Curb your enthusiasm!)

Overall, recommended only for diehard fans of the series. Casual players should probably spend their money elsewhere!
