Strengths: great creepy atmosphere, good voice acting
Weaknesses: can be hard at times
Summary: MANHUNT 2 is a third person stealth/ action game for the PS2. U play as Daniel Lamb, a researcher who is suddenly fired from his position and placed in a mental institution. All seems lost until a voice inside ur head begins to speak to u and giving u directions on how to get out of here and survive. The voice’s name is Leo and u see just how deadly and terrible the institution and its staff really are. Thus begins the sneaking around and the killing. If u have played the previous Manhunt, then u know the mechanics and game play of this game. Since u are grossly outnumbered and unarmed, taking on ur enemies head on is foolish and suicidal. Instead, u should be stealthy, remaining in the shadow and striking them when their back is turned. U have a great number of deadly implements to utilize, such as hammers, knives, and glass shards. Later on, when u start getting chased by gun-wielding soldiers and mercenaries, u can find ur own guns to use against them. The game has so much shooting at times, it felt as if I were playing Max Payne instead. But it is still pretty satisfying destroying ur enemies. My one complaint is the fact that although the game is already rated “M”, and brags about the gory and deadly executions it has, u will not see any of them, unlike in the first Manhunt. The executions are censored with a screen filter , so u can only hear what’s going on and not actually see it.

Strengths: Good price point, more Manhunt action, more open gameplay
Weaknesses: Nothing revolutionary, censored executions
Summary: Manhunt 2 is the sequel to the prior title that had plenty of controversy. The sequel continues this controversy trend with the need to censor the executions in the game to get it released. This makes for a slightly less gory experience than the first, and the game itself isn't any massive revolutionary change from the first title. The gameplay is a bit more open, with numerous "missions" to do, though it comes out at a cheaper price point than its predecessor. It Manhunt action like the first, with brutal killings, so if the first game was enjoyable, this one should be picked up as well.

Strengths: A sequel to Manhunt
Weaknesses: Worse than Manhunt in all aspects
Summary: I waited this game for years, played it and am so disappointed.

Compared to Manhunt, its storyline is not that tight, its graphics are not better, and its gameplay is worse. In addition, it is censored and cut-down version. What a bad situation it is! Manhunt is 5 stars game. This one is 4 stars...

Strengths: the graphic and the freedome, GTA like
Weaknesses: the cover and marketing of this game is too bad
Summary: This is a good game, though maybe not as good as GTA. the story is good as well as the graphics, almost the top of PS2. However, the marketing of this game and their cover of this game are simply too bad---horrible. make it game a hot topic may not be very bad. but I think with this description, this is still a good GTA like game.

Strengths: Fun, Good value
Weaknesses: Game not released as it was intended to be.
Summary: I\'ve always been a fan of Rockstar games and decided to give this one a shot, despite not having played the original. This is both fun and addicting. Some reviewers complain about this release being watered down and censored, but let me tell you there is still a good amount of blood and gore in here. Although I\'m now curious how the unedited version would have been. There are many good deals for this game and it\'s definitely worth your $15-$20.

Strengths: Great nonstop action. Easy to learn, but hard to master.
Weaknesses: Not the orginal uncut version that was suppose to be released.
Summary: The game is a solid action/horror game, but I wish they would of left the game unedited and not water downed from the original version as I am very curious what all the fuss was about.

3 Star ReviewYou get what you pay for... and thats a good thing.
Strengths: More Manhunt! Inexpensive price point.
Weaknesses: Censored executions. Nothing innovative.
Summary: After months of anticipating the release of Manhunt 2, I can honestly say that I'm neither disappointed or overcome with enjoyment. The game is pretty good, although the only thing you'll hear about it these days was how it was censored to appease the ESRB. But if you can get past that, you'll get a quality stealth game similar to the original. Its available at a low price ($29.99 or under), and can be played on your PS3. Don't come in expecting something like BIoshock, or MGS, and you'll be just fine.
