Strengths: Excellent sound, nice aesthetics, good features/design.
Weaknesses: Well ... none.
Summary: Fantastic home theater sound for the money. These can be had for less than $700, shipped. The 150 watt subwoofer is fantastic. DVD movies will never sound the same - especially movies with awesome soundtracks like "The Matrix". The 5 satellites reproduce high's and mid-range sound amazingly well. I was surprised at the weight of each of the satellites - very solidly built with obvious attention to detail. Sony includes speaker wire in the box - a nice touch. The wire routes through the bottom-back of the included stands to hide the wire fairly well. Also, the satellites come with silver and black faceplates. You won't believe the sound level that this system can produce. I have a Yamaha HTR-5490 A/V receiver that pumps 80 watts x 6 channels (480 watts total). These speakers take all the Yamaha can give with no complaints. You will hurt your ears before hearing any distortion. Turn 'em on, crank 'em up!
