Strengths: + Flawless integration with base
+ Great clarity / reception
+ Great battery life
+ No interference with existing wifi network
+ No antennas (very well-built phone)
Weaknesses: - No backlit keypad
- B/W and pixelated LCD screen
Summary: This is a terrific phone that works great with any compatible base (I use it with the KX-TG6072B so I now have a total of 3 handsets). So let me just reiterate that: this is NOT a standalone phone, you need to pair it up with a compatible base. It's exactly the same one that is included in the set I mentioned. Not only is it well built, it has great reception and battery life which are the only things that should really matter in a phone. And a huge plus is the fact that it does not interfere with devices on the 2.4 ghz frequency like wifi. It is not perfect, however. The lack of a backlit keypad makes it a downgrade over my previous Panasonic. They should have included it in this phone. Also, with this being one of Panasonic's "top of the line" models, I would expect it to have a very intuitive LCD and interface but this is not the case. Rather, it's a B/W interface with pixelated text. Regardless, those are just minor annoyances you can easily disregard. I give this 4 1/2 stars (visible 5 stars on Pricegrabber since that's the next best thing :).
