Strengths: + Flawless integration with base + Great clarity / reception + Great battery life + No interference with existing wifi network + No antennas (very well-built phone)
Weaknesses: - No backlit keypad - B/W and pixelated LCD screen
Summary: This is a terrific phone that works great with any compatible base (I use it with the KX-TG6072B so I now have a total of 3 handsets). So let me just reiterate that: this is NOT a standalone phone, you need to pair it up with a compatible base. It's exactly the same one that is included in the set I mentioned. Not only is it well built, it has great reception and battery life which are the only things that should really matter in a phone. And a huge plus is the fact that it does not interfere with devices on the 2.4 ghz frequency like wifi. It is not perfect, however. The lack of a backlit keypad makes it a downgrade over my previous Panasonic. They should have included it in this phone. Also, with this being one of Panasonic's "top of the line" models, I would expect it to have a very intuitive LCD and interface but this is not the case. Rather, it's a B/W interface with pixelated text. Regardless, those are just minor annoyances you can easily disregard. I give this 4 1/2 stars (visible 5 stars on Pricegrabber since that's the next best thing :).

Strengths: Very easy to use and very clear LED. Great features: speakerphone, distinct rings & flashing lights, copying handset phonebook from base unit to other units, handset locater and an alarm!
Weaknesses: Wish there was a greater assortment of ring tones. Handset a little slippery in hand.
Summary: Works very well with a Panasonic headset if you don't want to use the speakerphone function in a shared space. Adding more units was easy to set up and synch with the others. Did a lot of research before making this purchase. Am happy I did!

Strengths: The new backlit LCD gives a much better view of the display compared to the older KX-TG5432 version handsets. The menus come with plenty of options including a talking caller id if you are subscribed
Weaknesses: There are a lot of blemishes in the plastic on the right and left side of the case where the faceplate connects to the back of the case Rubber keypad instead of plastic that lights up. No belt clip.
Summary: 2008-01-25 09:11:34 I bought the Panasonic KX-TG6052B, which is the base unit for this phone. The sound clarity of the speaker phone in the handset, menus options and especially the new backlit LCD are what I am really impressed with. You also can send anyone or all of the phone book entries from one handset to any other handset. I got this phone as a third phone for my base unit since I liked most the features of the base unit handsets. This phone takes the place of an earlier handset for the base unit model “KX-TG5432 “ which had some features on it that I wish they had put on this phone, like the plastic keypads that light up when using the phone plus the case had a belt clip and it looked more attractive with the glossy piano black finish on the upper part of the face plate.

I guess you can’t have everything you want, but over all I am very happy with the phone
