Summary: The touchpad on the front bubbles and remains permanently deformed. Be careful if you boil something on the front burner of your stove. The vent fan can not draw enough steam away from the front of the microwave.

Good looking and very good at cooking!

Strengths: easy to read buttons, sliding and rotating shelf helps food cook evenly

Weaknesses: none so far

Summary: Really love the idea that this microwave not only has a turntable but also that the turntable slides back and forth. This really allows the food to heat thoroughly and not allow "hot spots" to burn your tongue! The melt and soften butter feature is really nice - since I make many cookies and sauces. Plus, it just looks really nice. We have had so many comments on how "clean" the outside looks and the beauty of the blue interior. Very pleased and would definitely buy this model again!

Microwave review

Strengths: sturdy door. Heats things very quickly.

Weaknesses: none

Summary: Things heat up very quickly compared to our last microwave. The door is very solid and you can feel the durability when you open it. We will buy LG again

LG microwave

Strengths: Design, size, controls

Weaknesses: power

Summary: Part of a line from LG. Unique design with the controls along the bottom of the piece so easy to reach for less tall people. Shop around for best price.

Keypad Failed

Strengths: Looks great, cooks great.

Weaknesses: Quality

Summary: Keypad failed after cleaning it...not water proof!!! Sprayed cleaner on front and wiped clean. The keypad stopped functioning and we read in the manual after that you should not spray anything on the microwave. Have never had this problem with any other brand.

We bought this as a set of LG appliances and so far the oven is the only thing (knock on wood!) that hasn't had a problem. The dishwasher was finally replaced by a Maytag after going through 2 units. LG is an overpriced pig with lipstick!!!

Keypad failed 1 year and 2 weeks from purchase

Strengths: looks nice, works fine (for 12 months and 2 weeks)

Weaknesses: only lasts a year

Summary: Keypaid failed 1 year and 2 weeks from purchase. The product is clearly defective. Customer service claimed that there was nothing they could do. They've lost an LG customer for life. Avoid at all costs.
