Strengths: Magnificent cushioning. Roomy toebox. Snug heel. Excellent fit. Stylish lively color scheme.
Weaknesses: It's discontinued!
Summary: These might be the best running shoes I've yet encountered. Very nice cushioning -- like running on clouds -- and they stay out of the way of my natural movement. At the same time, they're not total and utter wobbly mush so I break my leg (which is closer to the way I'd describe the subsequent Vomero 3). For those who have need, a stability-type insole can be added for a little structure and support without losing the cushion.
This particular yellow and anthracite color scheme was discontinued awhile back, but was my own favorite since it was fairly lively. A bit of a "collector" find if you can still do it. The Vomero 2 is still out there, but getting harder to find with the Vomero 3 technically "current." Hopefully Nike never shuts down the 2 entirely. Great great shoe. I really love(d) running in these.
