Strengths: Quiet, uses very little water, many options, inexpensive, made by Electrolux.
Weaknesses: Doesn't always remember previous settings, manual is skimpy,
Summary: Looks like this model is actually made by Electrolux, which as far as I understand is a high end brand in Europe. The large front door allows you to easily load the clothes into the washer. And the basket is large enough to wash a Queen size comforter. The wash selector on the front is reminiscent of the old style wash selectors, but it is digital. Nice touch!!! The buttons on the right of the selector let you chose the wash and rinse temperature settings, as well as the spin speed. This is where you also select wash options, such as extra rinse, soil level, and "done" beep volume. The LCD display to the right shows the total wash time, and the remaining time. As you go through the options you can see right away how the affect the time. When using the "Max" spin speed clothes come out just damp. It takes less than 20 minutes in the old dryer to completely dry them where it used to take more than 45 minutes with the old top loader washer. We have been using this washer for about a week, what used to be a chore, has become an event we both are looking forward to. We got this washing machine at Spring Warehouse Clearance Sale at Orville's Appliances here in Buffalo for $424+tax. We feel that it was a really great price for this high efficiency, energy star rated unit. One may have tougher time carrying it home in a sedan, but it was fine fitting into the small SUV. The box fit fine into a 2005 Honda CR-V with the seats folded and tumbled forward.
