Strengths: lightweight, white screen backlight, slow playback, new message alert on handset, expandable, speakerphone
Weaknesses: shorter battery life and range compare to old 2.4GHz phone
Summary: I was very pleased after I quickly obtained Panasonic KXTG6071M from merchant. Then I was really pleased with lightweight handset and phone base. It is really step ahead for Panasonic compare to old 2.4GHz Panasonic phone. But my first disappointment came into play when I saw the battery for the new phone. It is 3 AAA batteries compare to 2 AA batteries in old 2.4GHz phone. Later my disappointment was confirmed when KXTG6071M fully charged battery died after 3 days compare to 5 days for my old 2.4GHz phone. People who talk more than 3 hours per day must charge it every day. KXTG6071M handset screen has white background compare to green one in my old 2.4GHz phone. KXTG6071M handset has flashing message indicator and slow message and talking party playback. KXTG6071M base buttons are more comfortably located compare to old 2.4GHz phone but the answering machine contains the same 20 recording time minutes as old 2.4GHz model. Another disappointment came when I tested KXTG6071M range-it was just my apartment only compare to 1 floor down and 2 floors up to my old 2.4GHz phone range. But let’s say that KXTG6071M phone is expandable to up to 4 handsets. I really do not recommend it for people who owns big house because of short range. Still it has no option to be used as corded phone (by connecting handset and base with phone cord) when battery dies but you urgently need to use the phone. Finally the new KXTG6071M has some advantages compare to old 2.4GHz phone such as: more lightweight handset with white screen backlight and option for slow playback and new message alert. But it came with shorter battery life and range.

Strengths: Handheld is very light.
Can be used as a controller for additional compatible handles.
Easy to use answering machine.
Hand free speaker phone is pretty good quality.
Not interfere with my home wif
Weaknesses: As usual, only US voltage, so using abroad needs adapter or replacement of AC.
Not so great battery life.
Not multiple answering system
Summary: It is a nice 5.8 GHz set from reputable brand that you can expect the common functions on the handheld and the base -- nothing fancy like color LCD, and I have had 3 Panasonic sets in the past. The handle is very light, and even so, you can plug in the headphone (not supplied). It comes with wall mounting though I place mine on the desk. I usually use the speaker phones on the base and sometimes on the handheld, and it has locator/intercom to communicate between Base and Hanheld. The base is thinker than previous models though. I personally like the handle being charged upright than this 45 degree.

Strengths: 5.8Ghz, caller ID features, conferencing ability
Weaknesses: So-so battery life, expansion handsets can be expensive
Summary: This is a nice phone with quite a few features. The ability to conference between handsets, the talking caller ID and ample message record time all work in its favor. The battery life is less than 5 days without recharging, but if you dock it in the cradle when not in use, it is not a problem. I find much less interference with my wireless router with this phone than with others.

Strengths: small, compact, not white re dirt and fingerprints, features, price, quality
Weaknesses: cost of replacing batter, flashing indicator in headset not on antenna stub as there is none
Summary: love the phone......smaller than it looks but it has all the features you would ever want. keypad on the unit allows you to dial out from there as well as the phone of course. answering machine is 20 minutes which is more than enough. speakerphone on handset as well as base. flashing call indicator was easier to see on the antenna stubs of previous models i had but not a huge issue. caller talking id with the service if you have it. buttons are easy to use and large. buy it.

Strengths: talking caller ID, flashing message indicator, good call quality, small and lightweight, feels sturdy
Weaknesses: not flush mountable against wall, instead 'wall mountable' means it sits on a ledge protruding from wall...not cool
Summary: Product was quite simple and easy to setup. I am still trying to get acquainted with all the features. The display window is awkward and a bit difficult to read sometimes. Love the talking caller ID and programmable number feature (you can program it to say the name or nickname of whoever is calling). Only drawback is it is not able to vertically mount on a wall.

Strengths: Voice Eanchancer and calling by name
Weaknesses: Not able to lock the keypad.
Summary: Voice Eanchancer and calling by name is the great strength of this Phone. Battery life is good. Has a good coverage. Other additional advantage is having the speaker in both headset and the base. It would be great if we can lock the keypad.

Strengths: It looks very slick. Caller ID & Answer Machine included.
Weaknesses: Nothing really.
Summary: I recommend this phone with enthusiasm. The battery usage on the handheld lasts substantially. The ease of use is not self explanatory. You may need to crack open the manual. Otherwise, as mentioned, the phone looks really slick.
