Strengths: long batery life, plenty of storage space, fm tuner is a nice function to hear news between sets of music
Weaknesses: controls are difficult to master, some of the functions aren't intuitive, and if you don't read the manual, you won't know they are there.
Summary: I really like this MP3 player. 2 GB of storage space holds enough music for me to listen all day long, and the battery won't give out before the music does. Also, the video screen is a nice way to share pictures. Before I had to show people grainy pics from my cell phone. Now I just upload all the pics I want onto my player. Cool Function

Strengths: Style, Sound Quality, Ease of Use, Hold mode
Weaknesses: sensitive touch screen, easy to smudge the sexy finish
Summary: I purchased one about 3 weeks ago. Love, love, love the sound quality. This is probably a great choice for those of you who buy an MP3 player mostly for music. Photo quality is good but not as good as some competitors. At any rate, I swapped out my earbuds for a set of $15 headphones from philips (that rest on the back of the neck) that I bought at target, and I must say it sounds like a high end stereo system. EQ modes I use are bass boost or 3D sound and it's grand because I listen to music all day while I work. I've had two ipods which were fine, but the proprietary software was a drawback when it came to all the transferring from computer to mp3player and CD-burning. I am very happy with the samsung and I will likely stick with this brand as it is high quality construction & sound quality. I bought the 2gig version, but as soon as samsung releases the 8gig I will purchase this same model in 8gig which is typically the highest capacity you can get in a flash drive player.

One recommendation is to go online and purchase the silicone jacket for $12 and the screen protector for $10 to avoid smudging the sexy black facia. You won't be disappointed. It's grand.

Strengths: Thin, so portable, good sounds, various sound modes, touch pad is so interesting, easy control
Weaknesses: sensitive in touch pad
Summary: This is brand new mp3 in samsung. So thin, and interesting touch pad and eacy control. Moreover, the various sound modes are very good for various fields of music. Design is much more exciting. The battery is so long for use. Good better best~~~~

Strengths: Sound quality is very good, the controls are easy to use, nice colors and stylish
Weaknesses: The radio sucks, also could have added voice recording but for how much I paid for it, its ok without it. it also freezes when I try to turn off the sleep timer.
Summary: I really like this player a lot, for its looks and its sound quality. However, the radio sucks, very difficult not to get any interference. the fm tuner in my previous samsung mp3 player worked great, and so does the tuner in my nokia mp3 phone... so its fine i guess if i need to listen to the radio i can use some other device... although i think it sucks that its so weak on the k3. also the 2 gb is enough for me... and battery time is also good, but my previous samsung mp3 player also had a much longer battery life... yes, i was stupid to give it away but anywho, i like this one too... its just not perfect. beats the ipod though XD

Strengths: compact, ultra-slim, ease of use, great equalizer feature, doesn't skip, sounds fabulous
Weaknesses: no playlists, ear buds are standard size and not contouring
Summary: Awesome product! After reading many reviews of several MP3 players, I decided to buy this one. I could not be happier. I had no idea it was this compact! Very slim design. Sound quality is great. The equalizer presets really make a difference. Holds plenty of music and if you get tired of what's on there, shuffle it out! The earbuds that come with the unit are standard size so if you have smallish ears they probably won't be comfortable. Also, I had no trouble with the controls being sensitive, however, keep in mind I don't have meat fingers and I don't repeatedly stab and jab at buttons to make them work.
