Strengths: Price, Picture Quality, Color Reproduction
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: I bought this TV from a national vendor and have not had any problmed with it. I wanted a 42" plasma or lcd tv that was capable of 1080P high def production, with built in tuners. This TV does the job great. When I went to look at this item in store, I compared various models including a Winbook, Olevia, Toshiba, Sharp, Samsung, and Sony. Of all the models, I thought the Sharp Aquos looked the best in the store, but the rep told me that the Aquos was getting an independant signal feed designed to make it look better. After very minimal color adjustments, the picture quality and color reproduction were just as good, if not better than the Toshiba, Samsung, and Sony. I even waited for dark scenes to be displayed to see how the well the 2000:1 contrast ratio worked. It was fantastic. Almost as good as the 10,000:1 ratio on the Samsung Plasma displays. Seeing as this TV was several hundred dollars cheaper than the competitors at a price of $899, there was no reason not to buy it.
After I have had it at home now for a month, it was easy to set-up. Picture in picture work great. And the color and picture reproduction are just as godd as they were in the store. I have zero complaints and am very happy with this unit and have reccomended this TV to family and friends.
