Strengths: Bright, clear picture, good color rendition, good software.
Weaknesses: Haven't found any.
Summary: I've worked in Broadcast Television for many years, and for major networks as well, so you could say I've got a well trained eye. I've been jealous of the MAC users for some time with their bright, clear screens and that's what I was waiting for in a PC monitor. This one is aobut as good and has really made my life easier as its a rare day I don't spend at least 8 hours in front of it. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

I plan to put this one on my business partners desk and buy the larger one for me!

Strengths: Awesome resolution Huge screen Flawless picture
Weaknesses: Weakest speakers ever Limited adjustability
Summary: I absolutely love this monitor.

I got my HP w1907 as part of a bundle with the HP Pavilion Slimline S3120n. The Pavilion is mediocre, but the w1907 is great.

I remember at the store I was like "my monitor at home is a flatscreen, and it's 17"--this can't be too much different."

Once I got it out of the package and started using it, I realized that the difference is night and day.

For one thing, my 3-year old Dell monitor has nowhere near the resolution: 1:1000. The refresh rate is 5 ms, and that can't be beat.

I just can't understand why HP even bothered putting speakers on the w1907 if they weren't going to put usable speakers on them. I literally can't hear a DVD from more than 2 feet away from the monitor--at full volume!

I realize most people will have external speakers to use, like I do, but again: why put the speakers on unless they're meant to be used.

Finally, the stand for the w1907 is barely adjustable at all. It tilts up and down, a little, but that's it. No side to side, and it has a fixed height.

Strengths: Very Bright & Clear, Sharp Pictures, Both DVI & Analog Inputs, Great Design
Weaknesses: 1 Year Only Warranty, No DVI cable included, Could be slightly pricey compared with monitors in its range.
Summary: This monitor comes through crisp, bright and clear. It's what we look for

in an LCD flat panel. Especially in dark scenes is when this monitor comes out tops where you can still see details without the black areas becoming whitish. No dead pixels that I could see. Design wise, I find it is about

one of the best in its category. Cool looks to go with performance.

Would recommend this monitor anytime.

Strengths: Well packaged. Connected , adjusted resolution and hit auto set , worked like a charm
Weaknesses: Speakers were ok - nothing to brag about
Summary: It's a much brighter and nicer screen. The video colors are vivid and has a stylish design. Text and images are very sharp which reduces or eliminate the eye fatigue experienced while working on non-TFT LCD monitors for long periods of time. Overall a pretty decent monitor.

Strengths: Monitor, picture quality, rigid contruction
Weaknesses: Speaker system is subpar
Summary: Really like the product, however the integrated speaker is very tinny. Will not recommend if you are wanting to watch DVDs or use as a media entertainment. The monitor itself had great picture quality and resolution.

For the price is a great purchase, specially if you are getting on a combo deal, but budget to get a speaker system to supplement your experience.

Strengths: Good picture quality, nice contrast ratio, DVI input.
Weaknesses: No HDMI support, the stand could be designed better, the location of connection ports couldn't be worse.
Summary: I like the looks of the monitor. I am not a big fan of widescreen aspect ratio for PC. I am using it in 4:3 ratio so it's a waste some real estate. Looks like my PC does not support the native resolution of the monitor, therefore, the text is not as clear. However, when I hook it up to my laptop then the monitor performs a dot by dot scaling which looks amazing. i can't figure why it doesn't do the same with the desktop PC.

I heard comments about the weak speakers but the sound is loud enough for a monitor. The monitor has it's separate volume control from your PC. May be that's the setting others users need to play with to crank up the volume.

One think where HP fouled is the location of the connecting ports. It's hard as hell to get to the speaker port once the monitor is assembled.

Strengths: Great Perfomance, bright, gray to gray scale, no dead pixel
Weaknesses: stand
Summary: I love this LCD, it's 10x better than my old 17" LCD. The clarity of this LCD is really amazing. Gray to Gray to scale is better than most avg. LCDs. I hardly see any ghosting effects. Watching movies is really nice.

I really recommend this LCD, the only thing I didn't like is the stand only pivots doesn't go up or down, otherwise its cool.

Strengths: Bright, clear images. Automatic screen adjusting, with the capabilities of changing them manually if you desire.
Weaknesses: None that I have found. Could use better instructions for assembly.
Summary: Compared this monitor to the others on display with the 19" screen. Had gone to the store with the intension of buying another brand. After comparing all the monitors on display, found this HP W1907 had a much clearer and brighter picture than the others.

Found that speaker volume can be adjusted by changing the volume settings in your computer.

Strengths: Huge Great Resolution Clean picture
Weaknesses: Not really adjustable
Summary: I recently got this monitor and I fell in love with it the moment I hooked it up. I originally had a 17 inch monitor that was nice, but it didn't really wow me. Now that I upgraded, I regret waiting so long. I know there are bigger and better monitors out there, but for the price, this one is perfect for me.

The resolution is clean and crisp. I really haven't had any complaints. I love looking at my picture collections and watching tv on it isn't too bad either.

My only complaint is that I can't really adjust it. You can't really tilt the monitor up or down. Depending on where I have it set up, it can really be annoying when I can't adjust it. But, since that is my only complaint, not being able to adjust it isn't that bad.

Strengths: Nice resolution, brightness and contrast
Weaknesses: Little shaky
Summary: When I showed this to my wife she wanted this only. Its very sleek and nice color combination for my desk. It has pretty good brightness and contrast ratio. The stand is such that you can slide in your keyboard esp any HP keyboard but works for others as well. It comes with a DVI cable. Its price is on little higher side.

Strengths: clear and colorful!
Weaknesses: The power cord slips out of the screen sometimes...
Summary: Looks great! No ghosting when I play games. Very bright! the contrast is great. I watched some movies on it and it is great. Obviously it is difficult to find wallpapers that fit it's 1444x900 resolution.
