Summary: This projector has a very crisp picture and the set up is very easy. It powers up within 30 seconds and keystones the picture automatically every time you turn it on or adjust the height. It automatically searches for the input source and finds it quickly without problems. Remote functions are extensive and very easy to use. The zoom feature is great to use during presentations. The lens slide close cover is also great as it returns to the presentation once reopened rather than shutting down the projector. The ability to connect to multiple monitors and a network also make it very versatile. The closed caption feature is also nice for presentations to hearing impaired students. The use of VGA or S-video cables with audio connector attached is also quite recommended as it saves cable clutter across the room. We are currently using three 83C's and everyone loves the quality of the picture presentation and ease of use of the product. Overall, this LCD is highly recommended for the classroom.
