The most realistic depiction of Manhattan Island of the Spider-man titles. Added new bridges since Spider-man 2 Weaknesses: There's new villans, but other than that game play is virtually unchanged from Spider-man 2. Limited to Manhattan (no Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, or New Jersey). Summary: New York City looks amazing when you are webslinging with the webslinger, especially on an HDTV. This game is worth buying just for the great views of New York. The way the game plays is exactly the same as Spider-man 2, but i liked that game. Essentially most of the time you just swing around the city, and beat up petty thugs, though they are slightly more difficult to beat in Spider-man 3 than before. They could have also done a better job with the cut scenes as they look quite poor like they were made in the late 90's. Lacks 1080p support. Glitches from previous versions of the game remain, mainly the camera angles get confusing. Despite these weaknesses, the overall game is very fun to play. I would recommend this game to anyone who hasn't played Spider-man 2 or anyone who enjoyed Spider-man 2 or anyone that likes swinging around New York in Hi-def. Strengths: Graphics, environment Weaknesses: Fight sequences Summary: Spiderman 3 is a pretty good game overall. I enjoyed it, it's DEFINITELY much easier to control than Spiderman 2 for the PSP which I just had to give up on very quickly. It's still a bit awkward, especially when swinging around in the air, but it's very much improved from previous titles. However, in the fight sequences I found it to be just a little boring. Weaknesses: The fighting is boring, with you essentially hitting the same buttons. Many graphical glitches. Summary: I really wanted to like this game. When I first started it up, I thought it looked pretty good. But the problem is the way it plays. It just wasn't that fun. Also, sometimes Spiderman will swing or get behind something and will be hidden for a second, making it impossible to control him. Many issues with him crawling on walls and looking partially stuck in it. My son had Spiderman crawling in thin air. It was funny, but I don't buy games to be entertained by the poor programming. Weaknesses: Boring music, Not a keeper as it can be finished in < 2 weeks. Summary: Amazing graphics, Fun to fly around the big apple, has different storyline including actual movie.
