Strengths: Very good graphics. The most realistic depiction of Manhattan Island of the Spider-man titles. Added new bridges since Spider-man 2
Weaknesses: There's new villans, but other than that game play is virtually unchanged from Spider-man 2. Limited to Manhattan (no Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, or New Jersey).
Summary: New York City looks amazing when you are webslinging with the webslinger, especially on an HDTV. This game is worth buying just for the great views of New York. The way the game plays is exactly the same as Spider-man 2, but i liked that game. Essentially most of the time you just swing around the city, and beat up petty thugs, though they are slightly more difficult to beat in Spider-man 3 than before. They could have also done a better job with the cut scenes as they look quite poor like they were made in the late 90's. Lacks 1080p support. Glitches from previous versions of the game remain, mainly the camera angles get confusing. Despite these weaknesses, the overall game is very fun to play. I would recommend this game to anyone who hasn't played Spider-man 2 or anyone who enjoyed Spider-man 2 or anyone that likes swinging around New York in Hi-def.
