Strengths: none that I can find!
Weaknesses: EATS AA BAT for breakfest, lunch and dinner! you may save on film but better have stock in eveready! flash takes forever to recharge, poor images I agree with last reviewer camera is a real POS
Summary: There are much better camera's out there for the same if not cheaper price. do yourself a favor stay far away from this camera. take a look at agfa, kodak, or even another

model from hp just not this one

Strengths: auto timer, smart media, delete and view on the fly, USB.
Weaknesses: Slow, inaccurate, poor quality pictures
Summary: Slow:takes 30seconds for flash to be ready, takes 20 seconds or more between photos. Say cheese! say cheese again! say cheese again!

Bad Quality: Even at highest resolution the pictures come out grainy, especially in low light. Close-ups come out blurry. I will send you a sample if you like.

Inaccurate: The pictures do not match what you see in the viewfinder, cutting off the top or the right sides of the pictures, I think HP didn't take the time to line up the lens with the viewfinder. Delete, delete delete!

Battery life is short: The manual says no rechargables can be used but I find that rechargebles work just fine. Last about 1 hour of use before needing recharging. Alkalines last about 5 hours with LCD off.

All in all the camera is a real P.O.S. I recommend an Olympus or Fuji.
