Strengths: Excellent Picture Quality. Very clear even on analogue signals. Simple to set up and use. HDMI hookup.
Weaknesses: Remote has some quirks
Summary: When I was looking for a TV, I wanted a Excellent HD TV, and it had to be a theatre wide. I purchased My Toshiba at Future Shop in Canada for $599. I love the picture quality, and I was amazed at the picture quality. The Tv is modern looking, has very good sound, and was a breeze to hook up to my cable box and dvd player. The HDMI feature is nice since I also purchased a Toshiba DVD player with the HDMI hookup.(Toshiba SD-5970) Paired together, this combination makes your favorite movies look stunning! Perhaps the ultimate test came when I watched Lord of the Rings in High definition. I was amazed! Also the pull down menus are simple yet comprehensive. The remote does have some quirks and takes some getting used to. Lots of buttons, and you need to be almost straight in front of the Tv for it to work properly.

To sum up, the best 26" HD CRT Theatre Wide Tv for a great price!

1 Star ReviewWell, I've had a bad experience with this product, ...
Strengths: Size, weight and HDTV ready. It's smaller than most other widescreens and weighs less than others too. Nice slimmer design.
Weaknesses: Without HDTV service the picture is disappointing in most modes.
Summary: Well, I've had a bad experience with this product, bad yoke, the geometry somehow got messed up within a month of owning it. Parts needed to repair are backordered and it's been out-of-service for 2 months now!
