Strengths: Nice lines, stainless steel, big interior
Weaknesses: none found yet
Summary: 2006-02-06 14:24:23 Purchased this microwave to replace 15 year old Panasonic. Wanted a stainless steel model to go with the rest of the stainless steel in the kitchen. We basically use the microwave to reheat, defrost and heat hot water/oatmeal/popcorn, etc. We don't use it to cook "meals" in it.

I saw this model at a good price, so I did lots of research on the internet. Then I decided to buy it. It seems to have all the bells and whistles that the more expensive models have. The display screen is easy to read. You can just push power level and time or it will prompt you through programming the microwave to cook using the sensor or shortcut keys. For instance, if you are cooking oatmeal, you can push the breakfast key and oatmeal is the first selection. Just push start and it senses when it is cooked. So, this sensor seems to be pretty accurate. If anything, it may heat it a little too long. Defrosting works great. You put in the weight of the meat to defrost and it comes out defrosted and not partially cooked. Of course if you put in the wrong weight, it won't defrost properly. It is big, but not bigger than the other large countertop microwaves. Pleased with the purchase.

Strengths: Turbo Defroster is quick and easy to use. Popcorn button is excellent.
Weaknesses: So far we haven't found any weaknesses.
Summary: 2005-07-07 18:35:41 My family & I have been using the NN-T994SF 2.2 cu. ft. countertop stainless steel microwave oven for the past weeks weeks. We were in dire need of one as our last microwave was quite a few years old. We are amazed with the power of our new microwave. It is amazing how fast everything heats up, whether to warm a cup of coffee, boil water for tea, scramble an egg, or cook a frozen dinner. We were especially delighted with the turbo defrost and how efficiently it works to defrost meat that was blast frozen. It surely comes in handy when mom or dad comes home late from work & has to cook dinner for the family! So far it is easy to keep clean, and we often we remind our teenagers to cover everything they cook, to avoid splattering of food on the sides of the microwave. This is our first stainless steel kitchen appliance we have purchased, as we don't buy new items that often....having 2 kids in college has kept us out of the stores to purchase anything unless our children need it for college, or we absolutely need it! In conclusion, we are extremely happy with our new microwave, it is durable, practical, easy to use and it beautifies our kitchen. Thank you for making such a fine product.

Strengths: Huge! Stainless Steel, Sensor, lots of features
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is a great choice for a microwave. We use it in cooking, warming, etc. It has a sensor which senses the steam coming off the food being prepared and adjusts the cook time and power level accordingly - EXCELLENT! This does not boil over a cup of soup when I try to warm it as my old one did. Tons of features and sensor cooking - top notch!
