Strengths: Small size for SLR, live preview, and includes two lenses.
Weaknesses: Using the automatic mode is easy but using the manual mode requires a long learning curve.
Summary: This camera comes with a 2.5" live preview mode which is rare in most SLR cameras. You can also use the optical viewfinder. It's lightweight for an SLR at 13 oz. It uses both CompactFlash and xD memory cards. I prefer CompactFlash cards because they are cheaper and have a higher capacity. You get 10 megapixels. The first thing I noticed about this SLR camera is the small box it comes in, not much larger than a non SLR camera in the $300 price range. I also noticed that the live preview mode slows down the number of pictures you can take one after another.
